    If action is required, the technician remediates the device, verifies that the problem is resolved, records what happened, and may review whether other devices have the same issue.

    The same workflow can apply to a server with low storage, a failed backup, an unstable network connection, or a patch that did not install correctly.

    This ongoing cycle is one of the biggest differences between managed IT and simply having someone available when technology breaks.
